Myanmar PM met Cambodian and Laotian counterparts

SAC Chair Prime Minister Senior General Minn Aung Hlaing who was in Kunming to attend the summits met his Cambodian and Laotian counterparts on 6th November.

He met Cambodian Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Hun Manet at the Green Lake Hotel and Laotian Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Sonexay Siphandone at Hualuxe Kunming Hotel separately.

During the meetings, matters relating to the possibilities of promoting the friendly bilateral ties between Myanmar and Cambodia as well as between Myanmar and Laos and enhancing cooperation, the latest political developments and the real situation prevailing in Myanmar and measures being taken to hold a free and fair multi-party democracy election.

Also discussed were matters concerning Myanmar’s cooperation within ASEAN to its utmost, Myanmar’s ability to participate in ASEAN meetings and the circumstances required to peacefully resolve the issues prevailing indisu Myanmar.

Other matters discussed in the meetings with Cambodian and Laotian PMs were the assistance to be provided by Cambodia and Laos, friendly relationship and diplomatic ties with Cambodia and Laos, exchange of friendly visits, promotion of bilateral trade, investment, tourism, social and cultural sectors and cooperation in other sectors.
